Where does the time go?

Right now I am sitting in the library being bored.  I have a test in an hour but I am sick of studying for it because I've done all 4 of the practice tests 3 times each! So now I write...

I can't believe I've neglected my blog for this long.  I know I can't catch up on everything that has happened over the past two months but I will post pictures (with captions).  However I must say, I can't believe it is already the end of October, and that the semester is more than half way done.  I have mixed feelings about this because as most of you know I won't be here next semester; I'll be in London.  I'm super stoked for London but I also don't want to leave Provo right now.  I love my apartment, roommates, and ward.  I guess I better just take advantage of it all now before the semester ends.

I guess I better recap about school (this is mostly for me, but if you're interested....read on).  I actually really love my school schedule right now, except for the random 1 or 2 hour breaks here and there....so I guess I should say I really love my classes.  I'm taking Math (G.E.), Bio (G.E.), American Humanities, Choir, Joseph Smith and the Restoration, and Doctrine and Covenants.  And just last week I started taking my London prep class.  The only bad thing about the London prep class is that I have to be on campus from 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. every Thursday.  Because of reviews and other random appointments, I was on campus from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. yesterday.  But I am grateful for the Rachels; Rae Fish (my new nickname for my roommate since distinguishing between the two Rachels was getting difficult) because she made the whole apartment dinner for her nutrition class, and Chol (sister Rachel) for picking me up from campus.

Because I have procrastinated writing for so long I don't even remember what I was going to write about, so these pictures will do most of the recapping for me.

We were getting crushed, so we left early

I don't even really like this picture of me, but I still think it's hilarious.
This was taken in Spring City when the fam and some friends went to get snow cremes.
In case you can't read the apron it says "I used to skinny dip.  Now I chunky dunk!"
Ice blocking for FHE. It looks like we're praying; we're not.
Down this run Rae Fish's ice block and my block came out from under us
so we were basically floating down the hill....it was the coolest sensation.

What we do when Rae Fish goes to the library.
(Cara, Evan, me, Tess)
As you can see by these last two photos, we would randomly start taking pictures during study breaks.  However, now we spend our study breaks doing something much more productive -- playing nerts.  Yes, nerts the card game.  We have a wager with another apartment that whichever apartment wins at nerts, cooks the other apartment dinner.  Little do they know we've been practicing all week, so...
bring it on boys.

Happy Birthday Tess!

Today is my roommate Tess's birthday.  She is the first one of us to turn the big 2-0.  She is such a wonderful, caring, sweet, beautiful, talented girl and I love her to death.  Happy Birthday Tess, I hope you've had a great day.

This picture is from last year's birthday

This picture is from today...one of the first pictures of Tess at the age of 20

This picture is not very good of any of us but oh well, we had to document it.
Can you tell the candles are suppose to be in the shape of 20?
